We stayed for 3 nights and ate here every single morning. After our first experience we could not fault it, or even consider looking elsewhere for our breakfast. The hospitality was amazing, so kind and considerate of our special needs child. The food was freshly prepared to our specifications and was so good. We would recommend this place to anyone. What User doesn't like about Two Bees Cafe:
We were searching for somewhere to eat lunch that actually had healthy food. This cafe was the best we could find. The food was adequate but nothing exciting. We wouldn't bother eating here again because there was no other food on the menu that attracted us. The decor however was something out of the ordinary - a mix of belgian flags and bits of painted driftwood. I thought the tables were crammed together pretty tig... View all feedback.
The wait time for dining at this café is surprisingly lengthy, especially considering that waffles are a type of street food that can be prepared in just a few minutes. It is best to avoid this place if you are in a rush, with young children, or are a tourist with a tight schedule. The internet reception is incredibly poor, so there are very few distractions available. The food itself was above average once it finally arrived, but the overall experience was marred by the excessive wait.
I had a delightful breakfast with my parents, enjoying delicious burgers and decadent waffles. Both my mom and dad ordered the same. We were all very satisfied with the delicious food. The rustic and cozy café had a beautiful environment with views of the glacier rock. There was outdoor seating available as well, in case the weather wasn't suitable.
The restaurant offers beautiful, fresh food, good service, and a lovely atmosphere. It is a cozy cafe with a wide menu selection and a beautifully landscaped garden and seating area with views of the glacier. Guests can also walk to see the glacier up close. The restaurant is only a short drive from Victor Harbor.
Firstly, we went here on a gorgeous spring day and sat outside. Secondly, our food was terrific. We had the soup of the day along with a ham, cheese, tomato and pineapple croissant. Fresh and delicious. We followed this up with coffees and sharing a...very tasty vanilla slice. It was too big for us to have one each. Finally, the service was quick and the staff were very friendly. We'll be back!
Friendly enough customer service. It was like they were highly aware of how inefficient they are and was trying to mitigate that with a positive customer service experience. It took a hour for me to receive my salmon and cream cheese toast thingy which was...ok. No cooking involved. There is a sign at the counter saying that there is a wait for food because all food is cooked fresh. Which I find weird and strange because all restaurants pre-prepare for their runs and can get amazingly fresh and well prepared meals out within a reasonable timeframe. Seemed like a cop out. All in all extremely inefficient and I’ll skip past the place next time. Someone needs to go to cafe running school. It actually amazes me how many people are happy to wait so long for not good food at all. Location is beautiful! I haven’t eaten my vanilla slice yet. Maybe that will be the redeeming factor.
