I am from the city (Seattle). Wonderful food. You can not get this type of falafel even in large cities, because here they use an Egyptian recipe, while most falafel places sell a Levantine version. View all feedback.
Tried it for the first time today, absolutely delicious. Got the lamb, will be back to try the other dishes. Guy is super nice
Delicious! A one-man operation. Fresh, friendly, affordable, and as fast as he can make it. Please help me keep this place in business!
Went for lunch at work and called in. It took some time for him to cook but not crazy. It was so good. I wish him nothing but success. I hope he is able to get his own venue seperate from the mall as his business grows. Really nice fellow and really great food. 10/10 reccomend.
Delicious Egyptian cuisine with a straightforward menu. I'm thrilled to find some ethnic food in Vicksburg. While it operates as a fast food spot in the shopping center, everything is made fresh, and the cook—who also handles the register—is patient and willing to wait around ten minutes for your order. I recommend calling ahead to make things easier, but you might need to repeat yourself a bit as the owner is still learning English. I apologize for the warnings, but you'll enjoy your experience more if you're prepared. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but if you find lamb too strong for your taste, I suggest going with the chicken. The falafel is, of course, delicious. The food is reminiscent of Greek cuisine (they even have a Greek salad on the menu) but with some subtle differences. The fries are similar to McDonald's fries, which is a plus if you enjoy thin fries. The baklava for dessert is also a delightful treat. That covers the entire menu, and the prices are quite reasonable. This place is a fantastic addition to Vicksburg's food scene!
I’m thrilled to finally have a place in Vicksburg that serves Mediterranean cuisine! Located in the Vicksburg Mall right in front of Dillard's, this small fast food counter is run by a very kind gentleman named Khalid. While his English is a bit slow, the service is excellent and the food is outstanding. I had the falafel sandwich, and it was fantastic. Khalid prepares the falafel fresh to order, and you can really taste the freshness of the soft fritters, paired perfectly with a mild tahini-based sauce and fresh vegetables. Ordering by phone is a great option if you’re in a rush. I can’t wait to return to try the Shawarma sandwiches!
