Highly recommended and it’s easy to see why. The food is excellent and plentiful. The fried green tomatoes and gumbo are must try items. The chocolate peanut butter pie is also super good, not sure how to explain the whip on the pie, but it’s really good. Food was marginal and overpriced. My dinner was served cold. And I was charged extra for asparagus, which amounted to approx $1 per spear. This place was recommended to me 3 different people who said it's their favorite place ... Vicksburg must be hurting for decent restaurants. The one positive: the bread pudding was great. If you're going for dinner, you'll likely be in for a small wait but it's definitely worth it! The staff is amazing and kept their cool even when in the weeds. This is a great place for some good food downtown.
Our waiter was friendly, the food was fast, fresh, and delicious, and the strawberry daiquiri was dangerously good.
Food has always been great there. However yesterday it seemed as if the food was cooked in old grease and cooked to long. Good taste, but kinda hard. Seems expensive, but you get a lot of food. So you can share. Service is awesome.
