My friend and I chose this restaurant when walking past based on the ambience it exuded. It was almost full when we arrived but the waitress was friendly and helpful and set us up at a table outside. We ordered a goat cheese salad, escargot, mussels and tiramisu and all were fresh and tasty. The service was excellent especially considering our waitress was serving 10 other tables alone as well as ours. We would defin... View all feedback.
Visited off season, so it was fairly quiet, but the ambiance was still welcoming. I ordered steak, which came with some of the best chips (french fries... I've ever had. The food was great, and the house wine was very good too. The food is massively better than the price would suggest. If you are in Vichy, and fancy a change from crepes, baguettes, etc, then well worth a visit. I think their speciality is seafood, and I did see a couple having moules marinieres, of which, again, there was loads, and it looked pretty good too.
For our first night in Vichy, we were recommended that street where there is quite a few restaurants next to each other. We sat in the terrace by the owner who was the only serving staff that evening. the restaurant was pretty full but she was extremely efficient, friendly and jovial. we chose A la carte. The snails were nicely cooked in a parsley butter. The fish soup just outstanding and the warm goat cheese salad, plentiful and tasty. The bavette was excellent and cooked to perfection. We did not take desserts but opted for a local cheese platter that was plentiful. Overall a very good experience with a professional owner team.
We had a very enjoyable meal at this restaurant. Food was lovely, fresh and well presented, with a good choice.
This is a very pleasant, light and airy restaurant in a quiet corner of vichy. On a summer lunchtime we had the lunch. My husband had the steak and I had the fillet of sole with very nice side dishes both at a reasonable price. Good service too.
The great thing about this restaurant is that it is open in early January, when the rest of Vichy is hibernating. Welcoming service and the food is fine.
