First time that I have been eating in a Morrocan restaurant. Tasteful tahin and a good atmosphere
We arrived on December 30 at 7 p.m. to a very friendly warm welcome, very good and copious food, we found an oriental atmosphere. Very fair price considering the quality. Not to be missed if you go to Vichy Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Couscous Riad
We have been frequenting this restaurant for years. The husband is in the kitchen and Malika, his wife, in the dining room. We were loyal customers...until it took a turn for the worse. And there, we feel that something has happened. We will not return there again (it is possible our reasons are not as obvious to passing or less demanding customers)... Here they are: in the dining room, the human warmth has given way to a superficial, disenchanted smile. As for the cuisine... my wife chose a monkfish tagine. Bad luck! The cook apparently does not know that preparing the monkfish takes significantly longer than cooking it. You have to remove the skin, cut the sides, lift the fillets, collect the sides and the central bone for a stock. Then remove the membrane from the fillets, cut them up and... then cook very quickly. Here, on the other hand, in this tagine, we discovered whole pieces of monkfish tail, with the central bone and the skin, cooked for a long time in a sauce that we would describe as indefinable to say the least. The vegetables around weren't any more inspiring. I had couscous: the skewers were nervous, the mutton full of bad fat and the merguez as dry as a stick. Except for tourists who will only come there once, I advise locals to look elsewhere. The Riad is no longer a good address.
Very disappointed by the wait before having our table reserved for 8:30 p.m. Couscous served 1 hour after the order. Bland couscous, undercooked meat (merguez), boiled chicken Price per person: €30–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
As you walk through the door, you are directly transported, the decor is very neat and warm. The welcome and the service to perfection. The cuisine is excellent, the dishes are carefully prepared, we all enjoyed ourselves, for my part the couscous was to die for with extra fine semolina and tasty vegetables. The desserts are varied, original and tasty. An excellent address from start to finish, we will return with great pleasure. Service: Dine in
