Two minutes from the train station, the restaurant is family run and the husband prepares the coucous and main dishes whilst the wife makes all the pastries/desserts by hand as well as the baked items. We went for dinner and shared the salate, brick chèvre and brick à l'œuf so a salad of grilled peppers and fresh tomatoes, three samosa type savoury pastries filled with warm goats cheese covered with honey and a large samosa type pastry filled with a runny egg - all were delicious, would highly recommend the goats cheese in particular which was sumptuous. For main, we had Tagine Fez (slow cooked lamb with apricots and carrots), Tagine Agadir (beef, tomatoes and egg) and Lamb couscous with a vegetable bouillon. Beautifully cooked, perfect portions. The lamb just fell off the bone and really aromatic flavours. All served with couscous. For dessert we had 2 pastries each with mint tea (you have a choice for the level of sugar). The owner was very patient in explaining the different dishes and desserts. The meal was nicely paced, no rushing to order or between courses or to pay so was a lovely relaxing evening.
