Such a lovely place! Was here with a group of friends, sat in the back yard in the best weather. Had wonderful food, the quattro formaggi pizza is amazing! Also had their lovely home-brewed wine. Great atmosphere, great service! Will definitely be here again! View all feedback.
What RF0rte doesn't like about Agriturismo Stazione Di Monta:
I was looking for an agriturismo hotel not very far from Florence when I found Stazione di Monta. From the pictures I had seen on a website and the other agriturismo place I was before going there I was totally disapointed. I haven 't seen any farm, just found a main house where the reception, restaurant and the family home is and a couple of rooms by the road. About the room, although new, wasn 't that clean and I f... Place surrounded by greenery, rooms and typical cuisine with homemade pasta, roast, steak and desserts. friendly and welcoming owners!
We happened by chance and it was a very lucky choice! we stayed for three nights and we found ourselves at home. the room was very nice, well-kept and clean, she didn't miss anything. The silvia lady and the husband (cuoco) were really hospitable. We just wanted to have dinner the first night, but we all stayed three. and we are very happy with the choice. all good, genuine food, some small extra satisfied request. Dinner on the veranda was a dream. And while in the village it was mouthed, there was a pleasant breeze. . I'd be there every week.

Very good service and amazing food! Family vibes and great views! Homemade wine and a few farm animals you can look at in the great weather.
We visited for dinner on a Friday evening. The restaurant is at the back of the farm overlooking fields and a valley, looking towards the sunset. The choice of food is simple but everything we ate was grown and prepared there. I enjoyed the mixed antipasti Toscana followed by the best gnocchi I have tasted, with cherry tomatoes and a basil sauce. Home made strawberry cheesecake completed the meal for me, though I might have had secondi if I had a larger appetite. The house red wine is suited to the food. Cooking and service are by the owners. They are normally open Friday, Saturday and Sunday for dinner, however other options can be arranged and they can cater for parties. Reservations can be made by phone or email, and warning is appreciated for gluten free options.
