We were the only tourist... read more Nestled in the Tuscan hills off the beaten track, Mandri is a gem! Excellent food, great service and a very authentic local atmosphere. We were the only tourists at the restaurant on a Friday night. The crowd was young and diverse and the place was bustling. Definitely recommended.

Fresh, crispy, thin dough and exce... read more Although I wasn’t ultimately keen on my calzone, the other four guests dining with me were extremely happy with their pizzas. Fresh, crispy, thin dough and excellent toppings. My calzone dough was also perfect, but I wasn’t overly keen on the German sausage filling and there was far too much ham. Very good customer service and reasonably priced.

I've been to this restaurant twice, because the first time I had a good experience. It's a shame that the second time the service was terrible. I had to wait forever for the side dish, they had forgotten it. Then, after having eaten a first course and a second course, we asked for another second course, only this time they brought the food without cutlery, so we had to eat with our hands. I didn't understand! The guy who brought us coffee started chatting with two customers with our coffee in his hand. Crazy stuff. It's a shame because the food is very good!
