What Maika Palmieri doesn't like about Les Chottes:
The food is good as it is used to be. However, the service by unwelcome and loud mouth French employees remains the same. As an example you call the waiter as he seems unwilling to work, he finally arrives and answers « ne vous inquiétez pas,...j’arrive! ». You point out that the bill shows a 3 dl of soda instead of a 2 dl glass served, the waiter takes the bill and comes with a correct one without even excusing hims... View all feedback.

Great location, as good food. Unfortunately, the employees really let themselves down the rest of them with very bad attitudes.
We have been coming here regularly both in the summer and in the winter. The kids always asked to come to les Chottes as they love the local dishes that they offer : cheese dishes, roestis, soups. The food is always of excellent quality and...I like that several dishes offer an opportunity to sample different cheeses, meats, veggies. The servings are generous so you are fully powered for your hike or ski. I recommend taking the cretes trail from thyon and then you can return via the main road to thyon. The view is spectacular any time of the year!
Our 10th visit to this excellent restaurant did not disappoint. The service, food and location are excellent and the weather just made the stop for lunch perfect. I can thoroughly recommend the Dessert Gourmand.
We walked here from Thyon- about two hours as we took so many photos of the fantastic scenery. Lunch on the restaurant's terrace was superb. All six of us really enjoyed our food and alcohol. Our friends insisted we had theDessert Gourmand. Good fun. It comes with five things one of which is a ' Kalashnikov ' shot- when in Rome etc. Go, be wowed by the view, friendly staff and great food. Per couple we paid 110 Swiss francs. Not as bad as I was expecting for our first eating out experience in Switzerland for many a year.
