We were just driving around enjoying the sites and when we got hungry we happened upon this mexican restaurant. Saw good yelp reviews so decided to give it a try. As others, we found it to be delicious. The food was fresh, some of the best chile relleno we've had. Even the beans and rice were very good. Only complaint would be the ice tea was very week. What T doesn't like about Chips N' Salsa Mexican:
Stopped by today. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. Plenty of parking and seating. The food was typical Tex-Mex with average taste. I would stop in again if in the area but wouldn't drive from STG just to eat here. View all feedback.

First time here the food was very good. We will be back for sure. Great quiet atmosphere, our waitress was great, fast service and hot food.
Cute name, the food is yummy! It's nice to have a Mexican restaurant in a tiny town and I like to support businesses like this. The waitress is always friendly welcoming
This was the only place near the forest so I went with it even though a few reviews had me concerned initially. When we parked it smelled like a dead animal in the parking lot. (My Wife said baby lets go,, it stinks here)The restaurant is connected to a gas station but I believe they are ran separately. I convinced my wife to give it a try because I 'm all in at this point. The place is called Chips and Salsa so I was expecting the best chips and salsa known to man but I can 't give them that credit however they were good. I had to add a little salt to the chips and that helped. Salsa was a little too pasty but after two bowls of chips...lol the salsa grew on me. Now to the important stuff. Street tacos were amazing. Burrito great. And the kids finished thier dinner and wife did to saying that was good . Service was quick. Server could speak decent English but may need to point to menu too. Bathroom was clean as a whistle and the dead animal smell was not in the building. Overall I enjoyed my experience and may feature this place in the New York Times as Utah s secret taco joint. Don 't pay attention to the negative reviews....Good Mexican Food!
The taquitos were amazing! The carne asada tacos were amazing! Wonderful hospitality, just an all around perfect experience! Thank you so much! We will be back! And yes, it is worth the drive!
