I h... read more This was the only place open on a Monday afternoon for lunch past 2:30pm. It's not a popular time, and I was the only customer, but WOW, it was outstanding! I had to translate the posting board, and got a soup with beans, chickpeas, and other vegetables, and it was great but the real star was the tomato based cod dish. Wow! I thought I'd had this elsewhere in Italy and lived it but this was by far the best. It was perfectly cooked, and the sauce, fabulous.

We were pleas... read more Rediscovering the flavors of yesteryear. We stumbled upon this charming family-run restaurant during our stay in Viterbo and the surrounding area. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and authenticity of both the dishes and the atmosphere. The dishes we ate were delicious and homemade, complete with homemade desserts. In fact, we finished our meal with a delicious treat: a crème brulee, promptly caramelized with a blowtorch before us. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious and truly authentic, the atmosphere was family-friendly, and the prices were very reasonable!
