Tecate Grill - Vestavia Hills

Best taco salad!!! We go for lunch once a week and they are very consist ant with good food and service!!!

I hate writing this review, because i love tecate. have been eating here for years now! but tonight really sucked. the service was fine at first, but after they wrote my check out they never came back to check on me at all. i am always confused on whether you pay up front or at the table here, because different servers do it differently and usually they'd take my card at the table. so i sat there with my card on top of the check for about thirty minutes. the server and i guess the floor manager kept walking past me and seeing the card, saying nothing. it was only when i sighed after a phone call that she stopped to tell me to go up front and pay. like you both walked past me for thirty minutes and didn't say a word, so i wasted half an hour waiting thinking they were just busy.

Ate here with some coworkers, so I'll forgive them for getting my order wrong. The food was pretty good, and the drinks are what you expect. I got their lime margarita during happy hour for a decent price, and I wasn't disappointed. Next time, I'll have to try the strawberry one!

Great lunch with fast, professional service. Enjoy the salsa! Plenty of seating too.
