We've lived on the island (32963) in Vero for 27 years and have frequented the Tides on multiple occasions. We are grateful for the attempt to have a target destination for culinary excellence, but they still have a ways to go.

But last minute, we could be seated next d... read more Last night we had a truly amazing meal at The Tides. We were lucky to get in, as this restaurant books out for weeks. But last minute, we could be seated next door, outside. It was a beautiful night, and a lovely ambiance. Server Rachel was excellent. Her recommendations were spot on, and she timed the meal perfectly. Everything was fresh, the correct temperature, and delicious. I recommend this restaurant 100%. Make your reservation early !

They got back to me the following morning with a perfect time for dinner. The staff was incredible. Anastasia was our server and she was always looking to see if we wanted or needed anything. We felt like family with the hostess and wait staff. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!

We were never left unattended, even when the restaurant became more business and business. We're here at 18:30. The food was amazing. The Calamari, Heilbutt, the Pompano from the Specials was absolutely delicious!! We also had the white chocolate cream blue and it was fantastic. The ambience was also very comfortable and cozy!

We figured we?d show up early to get a seat at the bar but little did we know that people arrive at the bar by 4 pm WHICH IS AN HOUR BEFORE OPENING! That?s a little? rude in my opinion but whatever. The hostess was still able to get us a table; I was so happy ? I can say with confidence there is NOTHING that you could order that wouldn?t be amazing. Our waiter was so young but so polite and friendly and knowledgeable! The location was very quaint and had a relaxed atmosphere. They even have an option to make a future reservation and have a multiple course meal tailored to your likes with wine paired specifically to your food ? this place is a foodie?s dream ??

Food was top notch, service was just as equal. We came over while on a business trip to Orlando, and while I griped about the road trip, The Tides was worth the trip 10x over. Can't believe how amazing the service and equally as good as the food. We had the scallops and calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was good, but the scallops were amazing and I'm from the New England area. Paired with a sweet tomato sauce and polenta, they were some of the best I've ever had. The salad was amazing with excellent goat cheese. Then the ahi tuna was awesome with the butter sauce and perfectly cooked carrots. My colleague had the pork chop which was excellent, too. We then had dessert and lattes. I'd give this place and the service 10 stars. I travel for work in sales and get to try a lot of places with customers. This place is one of the best I've experienced coast to coast in over 8 years. Don't question this place, just do it.
