Just got back from a delicious supper. All you can eat chicken and ribs along with fabulous Russian Borsche, numerous salads, veggies and scalloped potatoes. It was delicious and so reasonably priced. $20. We will be going back for sure. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cattlemen's Club:
Average food, amazing homemade dessert! Very poor service. They told us they were out of ketchup, had no jam, and it took about 15 minutes for them to circulate and refill our tiny cups of coffee. Would not go back - prefer the prestige, which is also closer to town. View all feedback.
This restaurant is terrible. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the food was mediocre at best and the prices were somewhat reasonable. I would recommend going to a different place.
Enjoyed lunch here. The menu is very limited but the food was decent. The service was fine but don't expect anything fancy. Very quiet and the decor is old but to be expected since it is a historic site.

We gathered here, a party of 14 people to celebrate the retirement of my brother-in-law. The atmosphere in the restaurant was welcoming and our server was helpful and attentive from the outset of our visit. I can't speak for all of the 14 meals, but the food ordered by my wife and myself was wanting. My escargot was acceptable, served with a cheddar cheese melt on a bed of mushrooms. Sadly the French Onion Soup was not so great. Again it the cheese used was a mild orange cheddar, and it was slathered on a slice of bread that overtook the soup and soaked up all of the broth. Eating it bore more resemblance to slurping down wet bread than enjoying a tangy onion soup. The spinach salad advertised on the menu featured a host of ingredients many of which were hard to find in the finished product. Suffice to say that it was the most bland spinach salad either my wife or I have ever had. The portion size was large, so the plates returned at the end were still piled high. The cheesecake dessert was good, and we surmised that it must have been brought in rather than prepared on site. Again the young woman looking after the front of the house was fine - it is just that the food didn't measure up to acceptable standards.
