What Burdette Koch doesn't like about Pho Sate Restaurant:
Ordered Special 10) that includes tendon and tripe. Only 1 small piece of tripe and no visible tendon. Mostly well done beef and beef balls. Takeout served with meat already in the soup so was far overdone when I got home. No basil or lime included (got a wilted/dried piece of lemon though). Not worth the price at least for takeout. Vietnamese is my favourite food. I’ve eaten it all around the world. This place makes it well. Great soups. Delicious spring rolls. Cheerful and charming server.
We had lunch on July 9, '20 . We were recommended the Wonton soup. What a treat and quantity to fill a stomach. Ther is also a vegetable roll offered with peanut sauce. The entire lunch is a treat.
Stopped in for a late dinner. First time here at this restaurant. Good selection of menu items. Food was tasty and portions were fine. Staff was friendly.j Will be back!
The large pho is a delicious, full meal. I had the house special and was pleasantly surprised that my bowl was full of meats and noodles. Not enough tendon though. Maybe it was there but I didn’t see it. The broth was nicely flavoured.
The food is pretty average and the price is pretty high for average food. I ate there once and not again.
