Castle Bistro - Vernon

This restaurant in Vernon is the best, with the most delicious fries I've ever tasted. The schnitzel sides are also tasty and excellent. The staff pays a lot of attention to the customers.

I’ve had a lot of schnitzel in my life and the schnitzel with cream sauce and mushrooms I had here was about the best I’ve ever had. I lived in Germany for six years and I’ve had many a schnitzel. This one was cooked perfectly....In addition to our meal the service was excellent. I’d eat hear again for sure

Our breakfasts were included with our room at the Castle Hotel. Lots of choices and great view. We ate 2 suppers there and were not disappointed. Tasty bavarian choices. Will certainly go there again.

The waitress was run off her feet but she was great at her job for being by herself. She should have had help from mgmt. left her a nice tip both days - she deserves it.

We ate dinner here because we were staying at The Castle and it was convenient. I love German food and am always excited to find it on a menu but often it is disappointing. Not the case here!! I had the Veal Snitzel, my husband the roast beef and both were perfectly done and so tasty. The atmosphere is casual but with a beautiful view of Swan Lake. There is a good variety of choices on the menu other than German food and daily specials. We did a small wine flight before dinner as well. The service was very good.
