Located in Lumby, The Blue Ox is a charming and cozy tavern with an outstanding menu. While the service may be a bit slow, the delicious food more than makes up for it. Their seafood artichoke dip, curried shrimp stir fry, and burger with jalapeno peppers are some of the highlights. The staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is inviting. Customers highly recommend stopping by for a meal, especially on Friday nights for the Prime Rib special. Despite some noise and minor issues, patrons are excited to return and enjoy the great food and drinks.

Always a good time at our neighbourhood pub. You can always count on service with a smile and good food other reasonable price. I was celebrating with friends there, and the waitress made it extra special! The tables around us joined in the celebration as the atmosphere in their creates the sense of community! We love our little Lumby gem! Only critique is Cleanliness could be upped a little bit especially in the washrooms. Price per person: $20–30
