Was Laurent Lemay at Aloha a mag?
Great barbershop service! My husband absolutely adores Tina. She is an excellent men's stylist and the prices are very reasonable. A solid 10 out of 10 for men's haircuts! View all feedback.
What Emmitt Volkman dislikes about Aloha:
When you dine at a café that is affiliated with a liquor store, high expectations are not to be had. This was the case here, as the tiny serving area had an attractive menu on the wall but delivered underwhelming items. The coffee was overly bitter and had a suspicious earthy smell, likely due to over-roasting. The slushies were little more than crushed ice with a hint of berry flavor, lacking any significant taste.... View all feedback.

You really can't expect much when you go to a cafe that is actually part of a laundromat, and in this case no one will be surprised. The little hole in the wall serving area offers a really nice looking wall mounted menu of offerings, but the problem is that the actual items are thoroughly substandard. The coffee is bitter, overroasted, and smells suspiciously of earthy mould. The slushies are literally crushed ice with maybe one squished berry in it. No taste at all other than a mild tinge of... something fruity. You might as well just get crushed ice for your money. Oh well, I'm sure that they have nice washing machines... just avoid buying anything at the cafe!
I went to Aloha Laundromat and was disappointed when they damaged my brand new $120 pants. There were large pills on both legs of the pants, which was frustrating to see. The lack of care in handling drop-off services was evident. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

You might as well just make your own at home. While they may have nice decorations, it's best to avoid purchasing anything at this café.
