Vernon Pizza - Vernon Rockville

Since it was almost 84, but my expectations exceeded. Friendly staff, fast service and a chicken stable approved by Adam Sandler. (Ask Michelle on it). If you think about driving McDonalds right in front of the highway, go here instead!

Great food! Calzone was cooked perfectly and the tuna grinder was outstanding, the bread was a highlight! Restaurant was extremely clean!

Definitely a hidden gem… The wings were fabulous, surprisingly from a local pizza place, ya gotta try the buffalo flavor wings, almost like a dry rub…the pizza perfect taste, like ole school… The grinders tho, we had ham, all was good but the meat needs to be sliced really thin, the thickness made it very rubbery

We relocated to Vernon almost 2 years ago and have gotten pizza from here a few times but this was our first eat in experience and I have to say it was excellent. The pizza has always been good so we figured the the rest of their food would be good too and we were not disappointed. The menu has a decent selection of the foods you'd expect and considering the portion size the prices are more than reasonable. There were 4 of us at the table and we all brought home a second meal worth of leftovers. I had the chicken marsala, the linguini was perfectly cooked, the chicken super tender and tasty, the sauce was thick and plentiful and there were tons of mushrooms. I've had marsala at plenty of places were the sauce was runny and there were almost no mushrooms, not the case here. My wife had a calzone that could've fed 3 people and our friends had eggplant parm and chicken parm with pasta that needed its own plate because of the size of the chicken and eggplant. Don't want to forget the service either which was excellent, or waitress was very nice and helped make it a great dinner. Will definitely be going back again.
