Our anniversary dinner at Elmo's last night. Food, drink and service were excellent! Every place that serves room temperature salad gets an A to begin in my book. Well done Elmo's!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Elmo's Dockside:
I was disappointed for a fish restaurant. Most of the fish offered were fried. Service was good. What we ordered was good, but there are other restaurants that are better. Won? View all feedback.
My boyfriend ordered what’s called “The Sixteen Dollar Sandwhich” which absolutely did not look like its worth that much. For $11 you can get actually a juicy fresh delicious burger from 5 Guys that’s light years better than this. very plain burger with cheese and a piece of bread that didn’t really match the burger. I ordered the po’ boy sandwhich, the fried oysters in this sandwhich were soggy and suspicious, on a really sad piece of bread with some lettuce. it was just tasteless and for $18 I couldn’t even finish it because I felt sketched out by the oysters. $8 lobster bisque definitely came from a can and was not made in house this place was dead. and it makes me wonder for such a huge restaurant and all this stuff on the menu, how fresh it could be if no one’s even in here ordering anything the salmon dishes were $28 each and very bland, my family had two of them. you know we’re you can get a delicious actually seasoned salmon for half the price? Blue Elephant trail West Hartford for $16. none of it was worth the price. two salmon dishes, and two very low quality sandwiches came to $111 before tip. literally what the hell. wish i had taken pictures of how bad the food looked. we are not coming back. I do not recommend this restaurant. When we arrived, nobody was around to seat us. After waiting quite a while, we were finally shown to our table, but it took almost 10 minutes before the waitress came to take our orders. I ordered the stuffed shrimp with a twice-baked potato. The shrimp were small, the stuffing on top was unappetizing and soggy, and the twice-baked potato seemed old or like it had been frozen and then reheated. For $30, I expected much better quality food. Overall, I would rate the experience: Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend the Surf and Turf, Baked Potato, Clam Strips, Soup of the Day, Calamari, Fried Shrimp, and Lobster Bisque.
This was possibly the best steak I've ever had. I enjoyed not being rushed, our salads, appetizer and meals were not pushed quickly onto our table and we had a nice, leisurely meal. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
