came after a day on the appalachian trail ins wits end. we needed a taxi back where we had parked at high point, but one could not get. dave asked everyone in the bar who was sober enough to drive. Finally, one of the barkeepers asked tony who wanted to agree with us. Thanks, everybody. burger were good too. View all feedback.

It was just ok. Vibe was geared more to folks not like me. Bartender/waitress was super nice. Owner, was super nice. Glass with drink appeared to have a greasy residue. Could be the ice.. not sure. View all feedback.

Love this place! The bartenders were attentive and friendly and remembered my name! The chef himself came out to ask me how I liked the food. He makes a lot of his own creative recipes. The patrons were friendly too and the bathroom was clean! Just a local bar with top notch food and service. I know a lot of Appalachian Trail hikers stop here. Plenty of parking across the street as well. Oh, and the carrot cake was the best I’ve ever had! I got one piece to taste and my mom sent me back for more! Lol. They have a black bean burger and Beyond Burger for vegetarian options. Monday nights are pool nights, Tuesdays are Taco Tuesdays, Wednesdays are steak nights, and the first Saturday of the month is karaoke. Fish tacos were delicious and so were the sweet potato fries! Vegetarian options: Beyond Burger, black bean burger, and some appetizers. Parking: Parking in front of the building and right across the street.

The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5 for its quality and flavor. The service was equally impressive; the staff was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was inviting, with a rating of 4, creating a pleasant setting for dinner. Additionally, there was plenty of parking available, and the free parking lot made it even more convenient. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful dinner!
This is a wonderful tavern that makes you feel right at home. There’s plenty of space to move around, and it has a cozy, rustic vibe reminiscent of a charming getaway in the woods. It’s a refreshing escape from the crowded towns and cities. I highly recommend it!
