Stopped in the other day to pick up some takeout, and s... read more Hadn't been by in a few years cuz I felt they'd been getting a little pricey for a little Country Diner. Stopped in the other day to pick up some takeout, and see what their food was like these days. I got the house special redfish $18, and she got the six piece fried shrimp dinner $16. Was very disappointed in the quality of the food. I turned down the onions and green pepper topping they kept suggesting since it was blackened, but finally relented. When I got home my blackened fish was swimming in a pool of juice and greasy bell peppers and onions. Even after damping off the filet with a paper towel it still tasted greasy! Shrimp were large, and were haphazardly breaded. Some heavy some very light, and they were greasy too. We did not enjoy our food, and felt it was overpriced.
