we came to recommend some friends we met here on holiday. it was excellent! we had a salmon paste, the pesto court and a grilled salmon. it was all fantastic. the pesto was fresh and tasteful. the salmon was excellently prepared and tasted much better than I expected it to come from italy instead of the Pacific Northwest. Their only gluten free option for breakfast is eggs and bacon, but it's delicious and hit the spot perfectly! I never went for lunch, but the owner told us that they have lots more GF options available then. They also know how to take care of their customers my second morning there, they delayed my breakfast order to avoid any risk of cross contamination.
We happened to be staying very close to this gem of an establishment. First went there for breakfast and talked to one of the owners behind the counter. He is obsessed about taking care of customers with allergies. I even heard him asking every single person that he was handing food to, “Are you allergic? Do you have food allergies?” I informed him that I have one daughter with a tree nut (pistachios and cashews) allergy and another daughter with Celiac’s. My daughter with the tree nut allergy was able to have most of their croissants, which has not been the case so far in Italy. My Celiacs daughter was able to have bacon and eggs for breakfast! I felt very comfortable that the man behind the counter would take care of us. Amazing place!!!
The only thing gluten free they have is eggs. Didn’t even stay to eat
Quiet restaurant at the top of vernazza with a nice terrace. bruschettas are excellent, the pasta is good. The staff is nice and listened to.
In addition to the sensational breakfast, with fresh brioches, croissants and sweet particles, which is already offered from 6.30 , this small restaurant, located just outside the lardy trubels, also offers many local specialties, such as anchovis, pulpo, bruschetta and of course fish. the small way around is worth not cheap at any time of day but for the local conditions inexpensive and very fresh and tasty
