This hotel restaurant is a disgrace to the profession!! This gentleman who welcomed us, dressed dirty in flip-flops and dirty feet, did not receive us even though we had reserved, he told us that the restaurant was closed!! What a rubbish hotel. some brown goop runs down the window. bathroom door handle also held for 2 seconds. sheets are white...pillowcase is yellow. The carpet is loose....really a top hotel. never back here again.
Simply SHAMEFUL. This gentleman who is selling Maville deals is not capable of honoring them. After multiple unsuccessful calls, we ended up getting a reservation...by SMS. And when we showed up...no one. Hotel lobby open but no one at reception and restaurant closed. We left a message again but this gentleman doesn 't have the courage to call back.
This establishment Clos des Lys or Restaurant du Marais is a dishonor to the profession... It is neither semi-gastronomic, nor creperie, nor caterer... and a total disorganization and a total lack of respect!!! It all started in April 2014 with a Groupon voucher for 2 semi-gastronomic menus... online reservation on the Groupon website... we enter the address into the GPS and find a housing estate... no number telephone number to reach them... the name of the restaurant Le clos des Lys is not in the yellow pages... after asking locals, we found this restaurant whose name is le restaurant du marsh and when we arrive, the manager informs us that he has canceled the voucher because says: not profitable enough for him ... we made the trip for nothing, the least polite thing would have been to inform us of the cancellation ... We also ordered 2 Maville vouchers The formula 12 pancakes 12 plain pancakes to take away and the formula 2 pancakes 2 pancakes 2 bowls of cider 2 coffees for 2 people in July... This time 2 mobile numbers were correct, but difficult to reach, we ended up making an appointment on Thursday evening 11/13/2014 and when we arrived there... door closed... a hotel guest ended up open the door and we come across the manager... no reservations this evening in the diary, the crepe maker is not there.... so neither for the menu nor for the takeaway voucher....we tells him that it 's the 2nd time...he doesn 't seem that sorry...and offers to make another appointment by offering us an additional menu for 2 for friends when we come back... Then, I called the 2 mobile numbers about ten times and left 2 messages on the answering machine with my contact details to make an appointment... never a call back... I managed to reach them on a Saturday lunchtime and therefore made Appointment for Thursday 11/27/2014 at 8:00 p.m. for 4 people and takeaway voucher.... I called back the week before...several calls before getting them...to confirm the date and the 2 vouchers...we came across a young person who said it was good but not for the takeaway voucher ...he notes... I was right to call... On Thursday 27/11, I became suspicious and decided to call at 6 p.m. so as not to travel for nothing...and found a young woman who told me that she did not have a reservation in my name!!! ???? she asks the manager (I hear him on the phone... that tells you something Mr LE thing... she didn 't ask me how it was spelled...another lack of professionalism and respect.... she tells me that there is nothing but that we can come at 8:30 p.m.... I tell her that it 's pathetic and a lack of organization...she hands me the manager.. I tell him 8:00 p.m., it 's been booked for a long time.... he tells me you can not come if you don 't want to come at 8:30 p.m.... what nerve!!! I finally accepted at 8:15 p.m.... Arriving there, the restaurant is not full, I present him with the 2 vouchers...for the takeaway voucher, it won 't be right away because they are overwhelmed ....they are really not organized considering the number of people present!!! The pancakes are empty and bland... the pancakes...a little better...the cider...no taste...the coffee...infamous... The toilet malfunctions, with the flap falling on the back... At the end of the meal, when leaving, the takeaway voucher is not ready... can you wait 30 minutes? After 15 minutes, he tells us that he hasn 't started yet... because he has to make 2 pancakes for a table...?!?? He still offers to deliver them to our home, which will be done on the day and on time.... TO FLEE !!!!!
Super nice hotel. Quiet, good quality restaurant, nothing to say, the service is fast
