My fiancée and I like to try new places, things and food. We moved in a bit hesitant because they were empty at 7:00 on Friday night. A server called Tyler helped us in our selection and we were very satisfied. My fiancée had the Kielbasa sandwich and I had the Svicova and both were delicious. From service to food I highly recommend to give him an attempt View all feedback.
Slow, authentic winter price. The food at the old Prague restaurant in Vermilion is like travelling to the Old World for dinner. The attitude is intimate and never changes. The menu is also reliable Old World. The carving is remarkable and compares favorably with the same court in Prague after my wife, who visited this European city years ago. The pork with sauerkraut and dumplings is a great winter meal. My son loves the roasted duck. Also large soups and unusual desserts are a must here. The food is delicious, old-fashioned and best enjoyed in cold weather as it is plentiful and hard. The restaurant offers a full bar and many beer choices. The servers are friendly, but the speed is slow, as these meals should be enjoyed, and not rushed. I have always found the old Prague to be quiet, intimate and authentic. Look elsewhere when you are looking for warmed fast food.

Wonderful... very well prepared and delicious. Good selection also
Outstanding Czech-German tariff. Old Prague is a fantastic restaurant. It is not fantastic, but has great, homemade German and Czech cuisine. My wife and I both ordered the duck. I often had ducks, even in 5-star restaurants, but not compared to Old Prague. The skin was perfectly tanned and crispy and the meat juicy, tender and tasty. The sides complicated the duck very well. I also recommend the potato soup. Our server was helpful, enthusiastic and attentive. All in all a great experience. The only drawback was the live piano playing bad Broadway Show Tunes, but also that added some small city charm.
Drove down here with my american fiancé to have him try some authentic czech food as I come from Czech Republic. We had the duck and goulash and both tasted like home. Our food took slightly longer to make which we didn't mind but we were given a free dessert for the inconvenience anyway. Great service, authentic food, we'll be back.
