Delicious food and excellent service! We’d walked in without a reservation and were told that unfortunately it would be about a 45 minute wait — a few minutes later when we were walking down the street looking for somewhere else to eat, the manager flagged us down on the street to let us know some bar seating had cleared out early. Well worth it as the service, ambiance, and food were amazing! Don’t miss the shrimp lulu and shacksbury dry cider.

I was not impressed with this restaurant. It came highly recommended, but looking back, the person who recommended it was a local who likely knows the owner. I ordered the classic burger medium, but it arrived well done—hard and dry. The fries were just average. Additionally, it’s not a good choice for seniors or those with disabilities, as we had to navigate a steep flight of stairs to reach the dining room. I should have waited until we returned to Burlington for dinner. Lesson learned!
