I was able to get a glimpse of their cuisine at a tasting event outside the restaurant. These are dishes that have the taste of the sun. What better to bring warmth and happiness when the gray and cold are persistent in a lucky spring. I liked what I tasted, I cracked for their vivanal ceviche, I would have taken two and three times! What User doesn't like about Villa Wellington:
We were very excited to try Villa Wellington because we'd heard such good things and it always seems packed. Unfortunately, we weren't blown away. The food was just ok and the server was super nice but it took a really long time to get our bill. It is definitely a good place to eat if you care more about portion size than anything else. Outstanding service, equisite food. Flavours captivate the palate. Extensive menu. Definetly top notch!!!! You must experience the ambiance and food of this restsurant. Just a heads up. Reservations are required. This place is packed to the brim. Inside and out.
I visit this restaurant every week. The quality is superb. The service is outstanding. I highly recommend the Jalea, Choros a la Chalaca (mussels), and anticuchos. A sangria pairs perfectly with the meal. I also enjoy trying the Chicha Morada and Inka Kola.
I visited Villa Wellington a couple weeks back with ma gurl Bridge, because who isn't hungry after the gym? I had returned a couple weeks before from Cartagena in Colombia and really wanted to have South American cooking again and that lovely taste in ma mouth! And so, we headed to the Peruvian for lunch!
To discover traditional Peruvian cuisine, Villa Wellington is a must-visit in Montreal! You must try the ceviche, grilled dishes, and the blood orange tartlet!!! Excellent sangria as well!
Amazing. Food was spectacular. And the chicha Morada hit the spot! Liked the large menu, lots of variety. Eduardo made great suggestions too as what to try.
