Resto-Bar la Belle Province - Verdun

A 24/7 breakfast lunch diner and bar all in one, everything fresh and made to order. Honestly I was surprised how well taken care of this place is. You would expect fast food service seeing the big 24/7 sign out front but cashier is always happy to serve you and cooks are always very nice. If its for breakfast with family or late night grub sessions with the guys this joint is always a safe bet

I was visiting my kids in Montreal last week, and I had the amazing fortune of enjoying a leisurely late breakfast at this fine establishment with them one morning while I was in town. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly gentleman who let us flip-flop between whether we wanted breakfast (missed the cutoff already but so what) or lunch. We finally decided on breakfast, although by this time, had I been the proprietor, I would have rolled my eyes at us at least 16 times by now for our indecisiveness. Instead, he simply smiled with empathy and coached us through our decision-making process. After all, this La Belle Province location is licensed, so he most likely has experience dealing with the maudlin drunks as well as hungover college students. Definitely makes for a well-rounded, compassionate, and fluently bilingual staff - you can't get more Montreal than this. Anyhoo, our host ushered us to a comfy booth and magically cleared off the table as we approached. Coffee and menus instantly appeared, and we were left to catch up on months of parent-offspring separation over a delicious breakfast complemented with endless, delicious fresh brew (coffee, not beer, there ARE laws...)Want breakfast? You've got breakfast!!! Yum!!!!!!

This restaurant was pretty clean, but it was a little hot in there.

What a great little place. Visiting from Florida and wanted to try a steamy and some poutine for the first time. It didn't disappoint. And what great service !

When i'm in town and in Verdun i always make a point of eating at least one breakfast at the Belle Province. The breakfasts are huge and the fruit is so abundant and so fresh. The prices are reasonable too. Danny is the best server...around. He really adds so much to the experience.
