Meme Tartine - Verdun

If you want a very good coffee in a nice place, it's the place to go, but expect to pay the price! Good service, good product.

I thought this looked like a nice locally-owned place to get a couple of pastries and a drink. It appears that they just opened and have a few kinks to work out.The amandine and chocolatine were both really good, puffy and delicious.The hot chocolate was so flavourless and watery that I threw it away. When the couple in front of me was trying to pay it took the staff about five minutes to get the cash register working.I was late getting back to my class because of the delay.The staff was actually very nice though, and I think they'll improve because they have a great attitude.

I'm not sure why I'm giving this place 2 stars because the chocolatines and croissants I ordered were terrible.

Paying a high price for pastries that aren't even made on site is a joke. And to top it off, my "tressé au chocolat" clearly wasn't fresh.

It's ridiculous that they can't bake their own items. This place is a complete joke. They have the space to do most or all of the baking on site.
