Eggerhof - Verano

Was recommended by our holiday guide so we enjoyed lunch here after a hike up to Knottenkino. Great views and clearly very popular with tourists . Service was excellent. Loved the pancakes with cranberry jam . Beautifully renovated, the restaurant also had lovely apartments to rent in a truly beautiful location . Great find .

We visited this traditional farmhouse restaurant with friends at the end of a long walk. As it was a very warm day we ate inside in the Stube, which was really cool, but they also have an outside terrace with beautiful mountain views. Although the owners couldn't speak English they were very friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure that we enjoyed our visit. The food was traditional Alpine fare, wholesome, delicious and plentiful. We will definitely return when we go back to visit the area next year.
