We all had the fizz, fish and chips which was delicious and then a special request for apple crumble and custard which was not on the menu but was whipped up for us regardless. Value for all of this plus a bottle of wine was so good. We had such a great night with value for money and great ambience. Thoroughly recommend!

We go here not only for our eldest daughters birthday every year but every time we are out here and so do the rest of our family! Highly recommend specially with kids because they love it which makes it more enjoyable for us! The owners are always welcoming and friendly and last night we celebrated our daughters 5th birthday and like always they made it really specially! Highly recommend!

They did fit us in despite not having booked. 6 of us went and we ended up sat on a very large round table making it very difficult to chat. Staff in the main were efficient but not friendly/personable. Unfortunately even though we had a pushchair and my mother was using a walking frame we had to go to the farthest point of the restaurant negotiating our way round other tables. Given the food and pleasantness of the restaurant I would definitely try again particularly as a couple rather than a group.
