The standout feature of this restaurant is its local charm. The brisket had a good flavor, but it was so fatty that we ended up giving half of it to our dog. The turkey tasted more like thick slices of deli meat than freshly cooked. The roll was store-bought and quite dry. The macaroni and ranch potatoes lacked creativity, and even the BBQ sauce felt rather generic. While my family did have a meal tonight, which is definitely a plus, it didn't quite hit the mark. It wasn’t terrible, but it simply didn’t reach the level of good.
We took the kids and our dog out to enjoy the lovely weather and watch the sunset over dinner. We came across a highly-rated BBQ food truck and made a 30-minute drive to check it out. To our surprise, the address led us to a private home, and the hours of operation were not as advertised. I spoke with the owner outside his house, and he explained that he wasn't operating there or during the hours mentioned in his Google ad. He made excuses but didn't offer an apology for the misleading information. He even noted that several other customers had made the same mistake recently. Unfortunately, my family missed the sunset and ended up settling for fast food instead. It was quite a disappointment. While the food reviews seem great, this business really needs to improve its marketing practices.
This is a place that is truly worth the drive to get to it. Don't blink or you will miss it! Everything from the pulled pork, brisket, ribs, boochy boat (home made seasoned potatoes, cheese, home made bbq sauce and topped with your choice of meat) and even the home made bbq sauce is FANTASTIC! Customer service is great too! There's always a special going on too. It's truly hard to find a great bbq place and this place hits the spot every time I've eaten here. Come check it out! you wont regret it!

Friendly staff and a $20 two-meat plate. The brisket was tasty. If you’re expecting smoked chicken, don’t order it—it’s more like fajita-style chicken. The pinto beans had good seasoning but weren’t fully cooked and needed more time to get tender.
