Marshall's Bodacious Bbq - Ventura

BBQ was solid, not exceptional. Sauces were good, not exceptional. Service was OK. Definitely worth a visit if you want BBQ, but not a destination worthy dinner place. We went just before closing, maybe that had something to do with our experience.Food: 4/5

Delicious hidden gem! Stopped by on a recommendation from a client, was not disappointed! Got food to go and it was ready soon after. Great flavor, not dry at all. Will be back.Food: 5/5

First time here, I am a local, yet hadn’t been here. I will definitely be returning. I had the pulled pork sandwich with side of coleslaw, delicious! Staff is soo sweet and attentive. Jenny, even stopped by my table to ask how everything was tasting , wow!!

Havent come since before COVID being a “thing” and it taste the same or better than I remember! They are under new management and I would like to say that Evan was very hospitable and he also recommended me their new sauce and it was really good. Thank you guys for the amazing food ?‍?

First time visiting this establishment and I'm so glad that I did. I tried the smoked baby back ribs and they were delicious. Cooked well through, yet still tender and delicious. Even before I put any sauce on them, they tasted delectable. You get good portions for the price you pay. Service is friendly and welcoming. Food was handed over with a big old smile. Next time I'm definitely going to have more of a variety but I can tell you to definitely get the baby back ribs if you come this way.
