Eddie's Grill - Ventura

From the moment my family and I walked in the staff made us feel welcomed. They were so nice to all of us and treated my boys great! Boys got kids meals, we each ordered different burger combos which comes with a drink and your choice of a side, I picked onions rings. With out a doubt best onion rings I ever had in my life! Batter was very light and full of flavor cooked to a perfect crispy golden brown with light grease. The Bacon cheese burger I got (you can choose fromlike 6 different cheeses) was very juicy and delicious. Also got a side of chili cheese fries that were up there with some of the greats. Fries taste like they are cut fresh from potatoes not frozen. Just for the customer service my familyand I will be returning, the fact that they have some of the best food in ventura is just a plus! I really like the ambiance and I will say the food LOOKED fantastic. But everything was just ok. The chicken quesadilla was almost floating in chicken juice and some oil. The steak sandwich and hot dog were meh but the bread was fresh. Everything tasted like it was missing something. I might go back to try a burger and onion rings.

The staff here is probably one of the best I've experienced, very professional and welcoming with a great attitude and knowledge of the menu. I had high expectations for this place. The food was just ok. I had the western style burger with onion rings and a strawberry shake. The shake was more like a creamy smoothie, tasted great just not much of a shake. The onion rings were decent. Crunchy exterior soft interior with the onion still having that signature snap to them, theonly problem with them was they were lacking in flavor. The burger thick juicy and firm to the touch but tasted like preformed patties from cisco foods.

This is what the food looks like in Real Life, when you take it home. SOOO GOOD!! The bun was Crispy yet so soft and melts in your mouth, full of flavor!!! The onion rings were also SOOOOO GOOD!! The onion rings didn't have the overwhelming taste of a onion. Every bite you can taste the crunchy outside and the onion inside was soft and flavorful! The fries were great! $22 but my wife and I split everything in half and we were STUFFED!! WE'LL BE BACK!!!

They have multiple added specials on the board besides a large menu. I had the special southwest chicken salad and the chicken was moist and cooked perfectly. Wide had the red snapper sandwich and loved it. Shared fresh made zucchini fries and had a ton of flavor. Cook came out to check if my chicken was cooked to my liking. Highly recommend this place.
