So this is a very cool, quaint place in Saticoy, the service is excellent and the food is also very good. The home fries are not deep-fried and the eggs Benedict was great. I do believe the hollandaise sauce is not homemade, but it’s still tasted good. Great place to eat. Local!!! View all feedback.
What Shani Levi doesn't like about Cafe 126:
Very nice stuff and didn?t have to wait to get a table. However, the food was very plain and lacked seasoning. The home fries were under cooked and lacked salt and pepper. The hash browns had a strange after taste like they were expired. Fries steak breading was really good but the steak was really bland. View all feedback.
I have dined at this restaurant three times and each visit has been a pleasure. It is a local truck stop, so they offer generous portions at affordable prices. I plan to visit again soon and will provide an update after my next experience.
Our delicious breakfast was served to us outside on the patio. It was prompt and correct. Our server was very personable and attentive. I had the Chili Verde and eggs plate, my eggs were made perfectly over medium and the country potatoes were very tasty and my boyfriend had a sausage and bacon with veggie omelette. Our fruit cups were so good with a good variety. We will most definitely be back. We've had the oatmeal on a few other occasions via pickup and it was a generous portion with all the fixings.
They offer a standard breakfast items with a good quality and a couple of unique dishes. I have tried thier waffles, pancakes, California Benedict, and French toast. All were good. They serve the food in a good quantity. It does get a little carb heavy, but it was what we ordered. The service is always friendly. I have also ordered to go from here, and they provide all of the items necessary.
Quick to get us seated, slow to take our order, but once the order was placed it was very quickly delivered. Food could have been hotter. I love the beautiful, tasty biscuits, good gravy. My favorite part is they still use ceramic plates and not plastic. Maybe if they put the plates in an area where they can get heat, it will keep the food hotter. There was a handicapped woman who accidentally set herself up at a table that was in front of the donut shop, not realizing it wasn't for the restaurant. She stopped the busboy and asked for a menu, this is when he told her she was not at the right table. She started moving forward to try to get closer to the restaurant and the young man just kept waking and went inside. Some customers got up from their table to make a path for her and open the door for her. The busboy was absolutely clueless and clearly has not had a lot of experience or knowledge on how to help people in need. That said, we will absolutely return to eat here and we were very glad we tried it. Love the train.
Great service waitress is awesome and cute ? Chicken fried steak one of the best. actual steak. I'll definitely be back
