This place is so incredible, we ate here 2 nights in a row! Amazing food, amazing wine, amazing ambience, and amazing service. Such cozy outdoor seating and vibes. The pesto pasta has the BEST pesto I've ever had! Everything we ordered was 10/10 delicious. Can't wait to come back!
Found this charming restaurant a few months after he first opened. Since then we have drive in for every anniversary or celebration with friends. Parfait never disappoints. He always pairs the wine for us and it?s always been amazing. The FOOD oh my! It?s seriously so so yummy! He has a cozy set up outdoors to accommodate for covid regulations and for being outdoors it?s very warm with his heaters and cozy! FYI it is a wine bar so no kids are allowed so make sure to set up baby sitting cause it?s worth it!
Extremely exceptional restaurant. We only had my wife's birthday here and Parfait the owner was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Everyone at the party was thrilled with all food and drinks. Incredible culinary experience and an equally pleasant atmosphere. We would recommend 100 times about this facility, because you don't pay for a meal, but an experience. Just one of Ventura's brilliant stars.
Our daughter in Denver researched local restaurants and found Barrel 33. She gave us a gift of dinner there, and we traveled 45 minutes from Goleta to Ventura for our meal. The delicious food and wonderful patio ambience were well worth our drive. As vegetarians, we found plenty to choose from on the extensive menu. We 'd highly recommend la vegetarienne pizza and the prima vera pasta both were fabulous; and our Barrel 33 salad was delicious as well. The highlight of the restaurant, however, is the outgoing and friendly nature of owner/chef, Parfait. Although he has only one other employee and must be extremely busy, Parfait took time to chat with us throughout the evening. Before we left, he knew the names of all four in our party and even recorded a video saying, Merci, to our daughter for getting us to Barrel 33. We loved everything about the evening and look forward to coming back again soon to share this experience with other family and friends!
