What Bryony O doesn't like about Crab Shed:
Brought my family here for a treat crab pasty but was a bit disappointed in the quality. Not as they were. Smaller and less crab filling and no salad on the side as previously. Just presented in a bag! Don’t recommend Ventnor cider either… very sharp. Still to the cans. Beautiful setting however as usual . Hope we were there on an off day and former size and quality returns. View all feedback. What Emma Mason likes about Crab Shed:

read moreThe Crab Shed in Steephill Cove is a hidden gem on the island that offers fantastic, fresh seafood in a beautiful setting. The crab pasties are delicious, with a generous filling encased in crispy pastry. The mackerel ciabatta is also highly recommended. The staff are friendly and passionate about what they serve, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Despite a few minor disappointments with portion size and presentation, the overall quality and taste of the food shine through. A visit to The Crab Shed is a must if you find yourself on the island during the summer season.
A little gem, this is a must visit destination for foodies visiting IOW. The crab pasties salmon pastors are to die for!
