This restaurant is a must when visiting the island we Ate here twice whilst staying in shanklin, it's so worth getting the bus there n back for a wonderful meal. There's plenty choice all cooked to order. It's spotlessly clean. The staff/ owners are so friendly nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely return when next over. We visited last night after a fast Google search and this big little place caught our eye, no nonsense home cooked eating in fast for 8 pm booked. my young had bolognese, as he was very used to authentic pasta home, he got him the thumbs up, and the garlic bread was also on site. my misses had the crab, which was also top notch, as my delicious gammon streak. the owners are wonderful, friendly welcoming and leading a great place, we loved it! the young waitress was also a shady and was perfectly well maintained and professional. both I and my misses work in 5 stars hospitality and we see a beautiful family restaurant and we will be back in spite of him visiting our next island. can not recommend enough.get in booked.
Had a great Sunday dinner with friends. a cozy restaurant in bistro style, which is always a great sign to book a table. four of us went all three courses with a bottle of wine and a few fresh ingredients, dishes on the ground, all delicious and fillings, friendly service good wine selection and at around £26 a head for 3 courses and drinks it was excellent. have no hesitation to recommend and will return thank you (y)
I just came back from a nice meal. I had steak and chips with pfeffer corn sauce, which was cooked for perfection. my man had chicken curry from the special board. our sons had a burger and the 5oz rump steak. the food arrived quickly and was hot pierced. the puddings were treacle sponge, rhubarb crumb, chocolate fudge cake and ice. they were all delicious. I can't recommend eating or service enough.
This place is a real gem. came here for the gluten-free options and it was not disappointed! completely recommended!
Wow cannot believe we have never been to Bellamy's Bistro before! My husband and I went in for lunch today and the place is lovely, the service great and the food so tasty! We had a jacket potato and a sausage and mash but will go back for the dinner menu for sure! The wine was really nice and my husband commented that the pot of tea was lovely too. Cannot wait to go back
