Looked very pretty from outside do decided to stop .Views amazing over valley,went down for evening meal what a surprise .Excellent food well presented imaginative in this recently refurbished hotel full of alpine charm .Hosts Peter and Liliian could not have been more helpful and attentive Well priced gem .

In our tight little room there was no linen covering our duvet on the bed. The proprietor (a Dutch lady who owns the place for 6 years) hurried to bring us clean blankets. At breakfast (we seem to be the only guests) there was no buffet, so we had to wait for each little part served in a very odd order, by two ladies who weren’t working very vast. And all the while we were having breakfast, another lady was sweeping/cleaning the floor in the dining place!

I discovered a new restaurant concept, Opan... read more I came to the Hotel Panorama to have lunch yesterday. I knew the hotel and restaurant for having stayed there twice. I discovered a new restaurant concept, Opano, with a mix of Mediterranean, Italian and Swiss cuisine; a tribute to the origins of the owners and Valais where is located the hotel. I tried the daily main course for 18,50 Frs which was a lovely pasta with shrimps, zucchini and a pesto sauce. The Chef is from Sardinia. The waiter, also Italian, was very nice and kind. If you are more about meat or burgers; you will find your treat.I definitely recommend if you are in the area of Crans-Montana to try this lovely family place; authentic; where you will be greeted by a friendly family and staff.
