It was quite lovely, especially because it was warm inside. <br/ <br/ We were greeted by a friendly host, and our waitress also did an excellent job. We didn’t wait too long for our food and it was quite tasty. <br/ <br/ I would definitely make this one of my regular spots if I was in Stellenbosch.

The first time I ate here I wanted to review... read more Having been to many doppio’s in Johannesburg, I was extremely thrilled when I saw they were coming to Stellenbosch. The first time I ate here I wanted to review the restaurant but they didn’t have a Zomato page so I emailed them asking to set it up. <br/ <br/ I went back and saw they had done so! I am happy to say it was still an excellent experience. I had breakfast on my own and sat at a corner table to do some work. I had two waitresses that worked as a team to cover my table and they were delightfully cheerful for so early in the morning. They even provided suggestions for my meal and which extras I should add to my simple breakfast. When I finished and moved my plate to the side, one of the ladies promptly came over to clear my table. I didn’t even know she was watching, it’s not always nice when waitstaff stare at you but this was done in a very good way as she stood a fair distance away. The manager checked on me as well. I felt like I was really looked after here. They even made sure I ate my sweetie that came with the bill. They were lovely, cannot say this enough! <br/ <br/ I had an americano and the Pronto breakfast where I decided on scrambled eggs and extra mushrooms thanks to my waitress. The eggs were light and fluffy and each component of the seemingly simple breakfast had its own distinct flavour.

Had the Buddha Bowl which was both filling and refreshing the flavorful hummus yogurt was such a nice addition and brought everything together. Waiters were not too friendly and it we were the only table not to get bread, but other than that had a lovely dinner!
