A beloved gem in Venice, Café Longet received rave reviews for fabulous food and warm ambiance. The family-owned French restaurant will be sorely missed as the owners return to France. Diners praised the delicious creations of the husband-and-wife team, from creamy soups to perfectly cooked entrees. With a small menu but big flavors, patrons enjoyed personalized service and cozy atmosphere reminiscent of eating at a friend's house. Although saddened by the closure, loyal customers appreciate the memorable dining experiences and hope to see the Longets' culinary talents continue elsewhere. Make sure to savor every bite at Café Longet before it bids adieu.
So sad to see the owners leave to go back to France. The restaurant food, service and ambiance was fabulous. Venice needs more good ethnic restaurants. They all do good business but unfortunately it's hard to get servers and many customers don't tip well which makes it hard to keep help. I will truly miss this gem of a restaurant! Was there for the final time last evening.

Authentic and delicious! A must go to when in Venice.
The penultimate evening in business for this wonderful restaurant. Everything superb as always; yes service was a little slow but totally understandable and forgivable. We will miss them dearly.
