What Amy doesn't like about Gjusta:
Been wanting to visit here for a while. We went for brunch at around 10am and it easily found a seat outdoor. We ordered the salted mocha and matcha for drinks. Salted mocha was very rich, salty and velvety. Matcha was ok. Food wise, we ordered the shakshouka, salmon roe bagel, and the fish and egg plate. Loved it years ago, still love it. Stays busy, for good reason, and expect to move and keep up with the process. Grab a number, grab a menu and pick what you want (with 1 backup), then patiently wait and enjoy the splendor of movement and cohesion as the kitchen delivers breads, meats, and cheeses with speed and a smile. It’s your turn. Step up, make your order loud and clear, tap that card, and head outside to a table under the canopy. It’s a beautiful thing, and I love coming back again and again. Vegetarian options: I love the veggie sandwich, and for ovo-veg, the Veggie Madame is great. There’s some veggie pizza and salad options as well, so a good few choices if you’re traveling with omnivores.
Love their sandwiches and pastries. Croissants are so crispy. Cheesecake is creamy and not sickening sweet. It is like a basque cheesecake but delicately made and not burned.
This bakery is an absolute gem! The pastry was perfectly flaky and rich, while the Basque cheesecake was a creamy, melt-in-your-mouth delight. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
20 bucks for a yogurt and they don’t even provide WiFi to customers. Food is great btw.
Great food. On the pricier side but great atmosphere.
