What I don’t understand: It’s 6pm, You advertise outside the premises the food selection for the bar. I think: Oh they serve food, because I am really hungry!. And I like to spend my money on upscale food!!! Entering the premises, I VERY friendly ask if I could eat something and am confronted with utter unfriendly disbelief for daring to ask. „No food!“ I ask if she serves chips. Unfriendly face and a something like a maybe. Sit down and have to insist on being served a glass of prosecco, telling her what a beautiful place it is. Keeps treating me like, well, I am a tourist with a German accent. No chips of course, no question for another glass. I erase the message to my husband that we should stay here once, pay and leave and will never come back. Sad

They're agitated, don't look at the tables, forget to bring the salty snacks with the wine (we asked twice and never received it), drop the 35€/glass on the table with the bill like if we ordered two diet cokes. This is so sad.

It was my second culinary experience in venissa and I loved it as much as the first time. the food is unmistakable kreatiw and innovatiw. you can feel the care... read more It was my second culinary experience in venissa and I loved it as much as the first time. the food is unmistakable kreatiw and innovatiw. you can feel the care and passion that is placed in the creation and presentation of each court. most crimsons, vegetables and fruits used in the dressed originate either from the own beautiful garden/wineyard of the restaurant or in front of the location of the service is very professional and friendly at the same time. eating in venissa is a real pleasant gastronomic experience and a pleasure for all senses. I think venissa deserves more than a star michelin. I will definitely go back to my next trip to venice and I highly recommend it to all who want to visit venice.
