For 3 courses with wine 20 Euros this place can't be beaten! Great location and friendly service. Basic food but really tasty. Authentic working class Venice at its best. View all feedback.
Every time we come to venice, we always go to the ceremonies da’a marisa. we've been here for years. it is a small restaurant that fills quickly, and they have sitting outside under a tent. our advice is to arrive early to guarantee a place at the table. our server, alvise and julia, were great. they seem to hurry when they sit down, but if they have ordered, they can stay as long as they want. they offer every day a price-resistant lunch for them will be amazed what they get. they offer a 1⁄4 liter water, 1⁄4 liter wein (red or white), brot, a selection of several pastas, a selection of meats or seafood secondi, choice of two sweet sides and a coffee. what a snoop! on this trip we enjoyed a 1⁄4 liter white and red wine – pasta bolognese, sautéed boneless chicken breast, a grilled pork with spinach/sweeping, excavated and a filled tomato. all freshly prepared by anna and their kitchen staff and all delicious. we had every coffee. what can we say this restaurant serves consistently good eating?

This won’t be for everyone but we loved it. We sat down having been told it was fish night and immediately were hit with antipasti which was a meal in itself. Stewed octopus, marinated sea bass, cheesy baked mussels, bacalao and polenta. Then a seafood lasagne. Then some friend calamari. Then a little mascarpone pudding with biscuits. We had better food on our trip but the boisterous no-nonsense, old fashioned Italianness was fun. Fizzy wine from the tap, grappa to finish. No booze charge. We just went with the flow.
