This is the pool-side restaurant in the famous Cipriani Hotel. I'm giving it a 5-star rating not because it offers the best food I've ever had but because of the overall experience you get when you eat lunch here. The weather was excellent , the view marvellous the foods very ell presented and really very good. The staff one of the best ! I highly recommand
We caught the free shuttle boat across to the Cipriani Hotel and chose this restaurant as it was the most reasonably priced and much more casual than the others. Great pizza and salad amongst other nice dishes. Beautiful place to sit and watch the boats go past.
As a select group, resident at the hotel for my wife's 50th birthday, we very much enjoyed a delicious meal.
We decided to take a break from Venice and took the hotel's private shutter over to the island from St. Mark's square for lunch. We opted to eat at the hotel's poolside restaurant which has lovely views of the waterfront and adjacent islands. The service was very good and there were several choices for lunch from a buffet option to gazpacho and pizza which is what we opted for that day. As is turned out we should have shared a pizza as they were full size, not a personal pizza that we had assumed. This is just a great place to have a casual meal with a fantastic view.

Be sure to save a little room for desert. The hotel offers free boat transfers to and from St. Marks Square. The hard part will be getting yourself to leave.
