Pizzeria Dolfin - VENEZIA

The food was fine but on the pricier side. Soon as we sat down a bottle of wine was recommended. Thankfully I asked the price and was told it was 40 Euros. Definitely not an authentic Italian restaurant. Was taken aback by the words “Tip not included” on bill holder. Definite tourist trap.

A return visit, having had them on our list of favourites for some years. Some new staff but we are still made to feel welcome and remembered by those still there. Bresaola was tasty, and the pasta starter (lasagne) was perfect. Veal for the main course (lemon and mushrooms) cooked to perfection. Lugana as an accompanying wine is to be recommended go for the more expensive one on the excellent wine list. Will be returning several times during our stay in Venice. Very reasonable price compared with comparable restaurants in England.

The pizza at Dolfin is reliably good. It is our go-to place for pizza. Service is warm and friendly. It's just a great place to go when you don't want to cook at home.

Ottimo ristorante con un perfetto rapporto qualità prezzo. abbiamo assaggiato piatti tradizionali veneziani e internazionali e non siamo mai stati delusi, anzi tutti squisiti. Fegato veneziano per leccare i baffi. ottima selezione di vini. personale molto cordiale e particolarmente competente. pulizia sicuramente tornare qui la prossima volta che siamo in venezia.
