I went late afternoon when they were not serving food which was fine as I only wanted a drink. The views on the terrace were stunning but it was cold so I sat inside. Clean. Fast wifi. Cosy and comfortable. I could still enjoy the views. The fresh grapefruit juice was perfect. Super fresh. I watched the waiter make it. They give complimentary nuts which are difficult to stop eating once you start! As you can guess, not cheap! Staff were all really nice and friendly. Not far from Piazza San Marco by the waterfront.
Fantastic location, food and service. Five family stopped here for or first night in Venice and we wasn’t disappointed. One of if not the best fillet steaks I’ve ever had. Great menu for both food and wine and all the meals we had were freshly prepared and excellent quality. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the location, particularly if you can get a table on the front veranda overlooking the grand canal Is perfect. We will definitely go again when back in Venice and I would give this a 10 out of 10.
We were staying in the hotel for 4 nights, and ate in the restaurant the first night. The terrace was closed because of the rain, and we ate inside. The interior is nothing special, and the prices reflect eating on the terrace no terrace and it is over priced The next night was warm enough to eat outside but I was told after November 1, no more meals outside till April. So we ae elsewhere The 3rd night, we ate elsewhere, and on returning to the hotel, had a drink on the terrace. There we found a single couple enjoying dinner. I asked them how they managed it, and was left in no doubt as to how it was done So the 4th night I asked again for dinner outside. Perhaps even just a plate of pasta or a sandwich, but was very brusquely told that we could have nothing served on the terrace I find it amazing that a hotel with nearly 100 rooms cannot serve anything other than a full restaurant meal. Nor can I see how one couple could get a meal and we could not Hotel management should be sorting this problem. Closing the terrace for breakfast and dinner for 6 months seems unreasonable
Absolutely faultless service definitely the best service I’ve experienced in Italy so far. I had dinner here with my wife and children and the staff went out of there way to ensure that we were comfortable and the kids were happy. This included cooking a custom pasta dish for one of my kids who is a picky eater. The food was amazing, the wine was great, and the location is right on the grand canal. We’ll definitely be going back!
