Came on a gloomy day, and we’re able to get a late lunch table w/o a reservation- very helpful. Waiter was rushing us, but we were easily able to order and eat at our own pace. Food was good, but not remarkable, except for the really superb tiramisu. Best ever. Would return to this enjoyable place. View all feedback.
What 588phis doesn't like about Antico Calice:
We came to this restaurant as I had read good reviews about the food served here. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our visit. We ordered the mixed fried seafood plater and it was crunchy but a little too salty. The squid ink pasta was rather soggy. Occult restaurant, but of good quality! recommended us the gondolieri that made us the trip and loved us. product of good quality and all very rich. We saw many more Italians in this restaurant than in others of the area. recommended!
Osteria di buon goto located a few steps from the square san marco. the menu is not vast but has high quality dishes without having such exorbitant prices. I particularly liked risotto with fish, fried sardines were just as good but the portion was a little too poor. for the rest I am fully satisfied with the experience.
I am Venetian and coming to eat here I found the authentic flavors of the Venetian tradition. plentiful dishes and quality plus staff available and kind! I'll be back for sure!

Nothing exceptional, perhaps less touristic than the others in the area. Some dishes on the menu, which is very short, were not available. classic Venetian cuisine, excellent cuttlefish with polenta and baccala' mantecato. Nothing sweets. honest price.
