This restaurant was great. We were there at 7:00, but we didn't notice it was opening earlier than that. Food very good and service friendly and excellent. My husband had fish of the day and I had seafood pasta both really good. Completed with a very beautiful bottle of red perfect up to a busy day. View all feedback.
What Ian Lombardo doesn't like about Alla Fontana:
The food was awful. I ordered tuna tartare with melon and raspberry juice... and got literally a pile of just raw tuna with 1 tiny sliver of melon on the side and 3 drops of raspberry reduction (that was enough to dip maybe 3 pieces of fish into). My boyfriend got the seafood pasta and the seafood was all overdone. Pasta and sauce were okay but nothing special at all. Bread was completely stale. View all feedback.
Beautiful location with fantastic, fresh food and friendly service. Will definitely eat here again if I ever get back to Venice!
