good homemade food. helpful bartender. The menu is fine, it always has fish of the day. the inconvenience are some customers who smoke on the street tables without respecting the rest of people and is very nasty, and some are in a state of drunkenness and are very ill educated. View all feedback.
This is the BEST traditionally typically Spain restaurant East of Malaga. Everything is traditionally right about the Esperanza from The Staff, the menu, the location even the customers, if you want 'traditional ' look no further.
If you wish to find genuine Andalusian cuisine on a budget then look no further. Incredible selection of Tapas, Menu del Dia or Cherinquito traditionally served then you must call by and share in (apologies for keep using this word) this very local and traditional atmosphere.
Very disappointing food and service very poor. We had Gambas Pil Pil no flavour what so ever and prawns over cooked. Will not be back .

Es el segundo año que estamos, el lugar esta muy bien, junto a la playa, familiar y tranquila, las habitaciones justas , por el precio debería estar mejor equipado, el restaurante muy bien, buena comida y precio, el personal del hostal muy bien, excepto la RECEPCIONISTA, MUY MAL EDUCADA Y PREPOTENTE, NO TRATA CORRECTAMENTE A LOS CLIENTES, Y POR ELLA PROBABLEMENTE NO VOLVAMOS.
